Why Our Association was created
Bringing first responders together for education, training, and disseminate information and help them get onboarded as new volunteers or achieve additional training for intermediate and advanced volunteers while working on fellowship, comradery, and interdepartmental relations.Since 1941, fire police have been a valuable asset to our community in and around York County, PA. This association was created in 2021 to further help fire policemen around the county achieve training and standards set forth through national recommendations, state standards, and local resources - for example, we work in conjunction with the Fire Chiefs Association of York County, PA to determine our minimum standards for traffic units across the county.
Make a difference in people's lives
First responders are often the first people on the scene of an emergency, and they can play a crucial role in saving lives.
Gain valuable skills and experience.
